“I’m passionate about photography,” said Robertson.  “I love to share ideas with customers.”

The blog allows Robertson to do just that through the comment section; it also provides away for her to keep in step with what her clientele are looking for, rather than take the usual route that most retailers take, which is to dictate what people want.

“I’ve added art prints of my photography, as well as vintage art prints,” Robertson explained.

“Based on the demand, I’ve expanded to selling other electronics for the whole family.  This is also something that is reflected in the blog as I have information about DVD players and the prints that appear on my site.”

Throughout the years, Robertson has seen the trends in photography shift, but she maintains that digital is here to stay.  “The days of film photography and the darkroom are diminishing and as a result, I’ve been working on increasing my knowledge of digital cameras and art,” she said.

Though times are changing, Robertson is finding the positive aspects of it, using her personal experience from working in photo studios and retail to sustain her successful web store, all the while, ensuring that people have choices and ideas presented to them in an easy to read manner.

“I want to present digital camera resources and much more for people,” Robertson said.  “I have links to articles and the blog is making sure that I can further explore this ideas and share with people who love photography.”
